Donicio Baldonado

GALLUP — Funeral services for Donicio Baldonado will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Gallup. The Rev. Joseph Gonzales will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.

Baldonado died Oct. 27, 2011, in Gallup. He was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Placitas.

Baldonado retired after 36 years with the Fort Wingate Army Depot. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his cabin in Pinehaven. He loved making bread ovens, doing wood work and gardening. He served in the U.S. Army Jan. 8, 1943, to Jan. 7, 1946.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Baldonado; daughter Alice Paredes; brothers Salome Baldonado Jr. and Gerald Baldonado; sisters Paula Landavazo, Berla Gonzales, Lilly Madrid, Violanda Seldner and Isabel Turner; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by Salome Baldonado, Ocaris Baldonado, Porfirio Baldonado and Helen Gutierrez.

Pallbearers will be David Madrid, Ronald Landavazo, Maurice Landavazo, Arthur Trujillo, Ted Trujillo and James Welsh.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Jeannette S. Hubbard

GALLUP — Memorial services for Jeannette S. Hubbard, 81, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Gallup. Scott Penrod will officiate.

Hubbard earned a Master’s of Education Degree and was a teacher at Red Rock Elementary School. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church, PEO.

Survivors include her daughter Marian Hubbard, of San Lorenzo; sister Eleanor Ferris, of Chicago; and one grandchild.

Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Hubbard; her son Benjamin Hubbard; and her daughter, Lina Heacock.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Norman P. Overgaard

GRANTS — Memorial services for Norman P. Overgaard, 72, of Grants, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Grants.

Overgaard died Oct. 27, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born March 17, 1939, in Humboldt, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Karen Overgaard, of Grants; son Phillip Overgaard, of Albuquerque; sister Janet Larson, of Custer, S.D.; brothers Harold Overgaard, of Dakota City, Iowa, Gordon Overgaard, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Bernell Overgaard, of Kearney, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Overgaard was preceded in death by his parents Burnes Overgaard and Rose Warland Overgaard; and brothers Richard Overgaard and Lowell Overgaard.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
